It’s time to come together and paint. In this workshop we come together and explore painting, most commonly an individual practice, as a shared process. On one large piece of canvas we use brushes or our bodies to paint as an entity. We start from the center of the canvas and move outwards, every 5 minutes we change position. We let go of our space and give it to another participant to continue what you started. The space is yours for a moment, let it go, and allow for someone else to continue the process. Using this physical space to move and create, we reflect on how our actions as individuals influence each other and our surroundings. This canvas acts as an inclusive space, everyone is allowed in, everyone is essential to the creative process, everyone shares their space and their creations, and everyone lets go. The canvas will remain in possession of the GA.
