But first we zoom back a few years when the DJs Asian Eyez and Yanling (the latter still on the move as Ginger Boss behind the turntables at the time) with their club evenings House of Mixed Emotions or #wifey – a former women's DJ collective from Zurich – who fed the city with some fine rave. The love of rave and collective thinking have endured. Likewise friendship, now extending beyond national borders, somewhere between Shanghai and Berlin. Time for a reprise and we couldn't be happier to be able to hear them playing with us. The lineup is be crowned additionally by Baby Val, also a former member of #wifey and meanwhile very busy herself as a DJ on the road. Techno, electro, grime, uptown techno, acid, jungle, cyber techno, you name it. Common dance floor samples are deconstructed here and there and lead us through a whirlpool to new dimensions.
